Have you ever used a TikTok Automation company or a “bot” that never got you any results? Maybe you used one on another social platform like Instagram.
After working with thousands of people that used bots for their TikTok accounts, I can confidently say that there are certain things you can do that get you the maximum results, so that you can get genuine TikTok followers in 2020.
And those certain things are almost always misunderstood. A lot of the time, people who are using the TikTok automation to grow their account don’t set it up correctly. Because of this, they experience a small amount of follower or engagement growth and end up blaming the TikTok automation company.
While some automation companies are a scam, most of them are legit and it’s actually the end user’s fault because they are not setting up the targeting instructions correctly.
This article aims to help you understand how you can use TikTok automation to grow your account, doing it the right way, so that you can get the most amount of real TikTok followers in the least amount of time without much effort.
After you set up your TikTok automation, you’re going to want to focus one one thing… And i’ll be telling you more about that later in the article.
Let’s dive in!
What is a TikTok Bot?
In my other article, “TikTok Bots — The Best & Safest Options in 2020”, I broke down how bots work, why right now’s the best time to use them, and then gave you a few different options to choose from.
I’ll be doing similar in this article, in a slightly different manner since I want to give you the exact steps I always recommend when setting up your TikTok account with a TikTok automation provider.
A TikTok bot, AKA “Automation”, is an automated system that connects to your account. Once connected, the TikTok automation will engage with users based on your targeting instructions. Things like following people’s accounts, liking their content, and commenting on their posts.
In order to use a TikTok bot, you need to provide the company a few things:
- Your TikTok username
- Your TikTok password
I know some of you are reading this thinking, “no way in hell I’m going to give anybody my password”. I understand your weariness, but when you use the reputable TikTok automation company that I’m going to recommend you don’t have to worry about any security issues.
All of the TikTok bot companies are pretty good when it comes to security. Some, obviously, better than others, but in the end you’re going to get roughly the same treatment.
Just know that the only reason they even need the password is to connect your account to their automated system.
There’s no other way. If you sign up to a TikTok automation provider that doesn’t ask for your password then get a refund ASAP because there’s no way they can connect to your system if you never send them the password to your account.
So after you send the TikTok automation provider your account information, you’re going to be prompted to fill out targeting instructions. These instructions are guidelines for the automation system to use, so that it can find your account the types of followers you’re looking for.
You absolutely have to make sure you take the appropriate amount of time and fill these out correctly.
Typically, you will be asked for a set (usually 10) usernames, a set (usually up to 100) hashtags, and a set (usually up to 10) locations.
The more detailed you are with these instructions, the better your followers will be (meaning they will be the right audience for your account).
If you read my article, “How To Ethically Steal TikTok Content Ideas From Your Competitors”, you’ll already know what a dream 100 is. My advice to you is that you want to use the top 10 creators that are in your dream 100 for your “username” targeting instructions.
When you do that, the automation is going to engage with all of their followers which means you’ll be getting real and genuine followers from those influencer’s accounts.
After you set up the username targets, you’ll need to come up with hashtags that are relevant to your account. HashtagsForLikes is a great way to find TikTok hashtags that you can use for your account. As of this writing (May 2020) they are in the final stages of releasing a TikTok hashtag machine, so you definitely need to check them out.
They will give you up to date information that you can use to pick and choose your hashtags. This is the most tedious time when you set up your targeting instructions, but don’t skimp out on it. If it takes you a few sessions to find all the hashtags, then so be it.
If you do end up putting less effort into it, then don’t blame anybody but yourself if you aren’t getting the results you’re looking for.
Lastly, you want to pick up to 10 locations. This is nowhere near as important as the above two (usernames & hashtags), but it still matters. If you know where your audience hangs out, then put those locations in. Everything helps.
And with that, you’ll send the final targeting instructions via a form (most likely) to your TikTok automation company. They’ll grab that info and set up your account into the automation system.
Once they’ve done that, you should start to notice actions being taken inside your account without you doing them. That’s fine, it’s the automation starting to work.
What Are The Best TikTok Automation Settings?
The best thing that can be done when starting automation for your TikTok account is to taper up the actions. That means you want to start slow (amount of actions taken per hour) and work your way up as you grow your account.
At the moment, TikTok has very little regulation (practically zero) when it comes to using a TikTok bot, but you still want to make sure that the TikTok automation company you’re working with can edit the speed. It’s not a one size fits all type of deal.
Once you’re running the TikTok automation on your account you want to use the feedback you’re getting (amount of followers gained, new people engaging, etc.) to see if your targeting instructions are actually working.
If at this point you aren’t getting some results within 1-2 weeks, you want to resubmit new targeting instructions and test that. The thing you need to understand is that the system is simply a system and it treats every account the same.
Remember: The only variable is the account instructions, and also your content. When people get upset about a lack of results it’s almost always a targeting issue or a content issue.
It’s best to be in it for the long haul with TikTok automation because you need time to test your targeting instructions and you need time to look at the feedback you get from them.
When you use the right TikTok bot company, you don’t have to worry about security issues.
Not only that, they have the proper customer support team. I highly recommend reading about the Best TikTok Bots on the market today, so that way you make the right decision when it comes to choosing the right automation for you.
